High-capacity electrical storage options from Green-First
Lithium Ion technology has existed for a number of years traditionally in small portable devices such as laptop computers and cell phones. This technology has one of the highest power - to - weight ratios in electrical storage, allowing a relatively small and light battery to store a high capacity of electrical energy. Recent developments in this technology has made it practical to build large lithium batteries with very good results in reliability and longevity. Lithium batteries now can last beyond 20 years, accommodate thousands of deep discharge cycles, and store enough electricity to furnish nighttime power demand for a household or commercial building while being recharged during the daytime using PV-solar technology. With advanced battery management systems, this battery can be safely stored in a corner of the home or building while occupying only as much space as would a small office desk.

Lead-Acid Deep-Cycle storage batteries
The 2-volt lead acid batteries are designed for extra heavy duty service with a long lasting 15+ year service life. These batteries are typically series-wired for reaching the desired voltage of the battery bank. Series-connecting a set of batteries will increase its overall voltage by its sum, while maintaining the same amp-hour capacity; while simultaneously increasing the overall kilo-Watt capacity of the battery bank. The following table illustrates the mathematics in series-connecting 2 volt (in actual fact, 2.1 volts) batteries and its relationship to KW-hr storage capacity for the resulting battery bank. As most DC to AC inverters use input voltages of 12VDC, 24VDC, or 48VDC, these scenarios are used in the table:
Battery type | No. of bats 12V | KW-H 12V | No. of bats 24V | KW-H 24V | No. of bats 48V | KW-H 48V |

6-Volt deep-cycle lead-acid batteries for small and medium storage systems
The 6 Volt deep cycle battery, holding a nominal voltage of 6.3 Volts, is a good, economical choice for small and medium storage capacity battery banks ranging from 2 to 50 Kilowatt hours. With convenient threaded battery terminals, batteries are series-connected in denominations of 2, 4, and 8 to produce a total voltage of 12V, 24V and 48V respectively. Identical series-connected battery strings are then parallel-connected to increase the amper-hour capacity, thus increasing the battery bank's overall kilowatt-hour capacity. The following table illustrates typical series-parallel 6V battery configurations with their resulting voltage and kilowatt-hour capacity:
Battery type | Bank volts | Bat. no. in series | Strings in parallel | Bats total | Amp-hr | KW-H |

Easy-Install 12V Economical Deep-Cycle Lead-Acid Batteries
The economical 12VDC deep-cycle lead acid battery is the ideal solution for a small solar and wind electrical system, allowing as little as one battery to serve your electricity storage needs. Considering that the batteries already have 6 cells producing 12 volts (actually 12.6 volts), a simple 12V storage system would only requires parallel-connecting enough batteries in order to meet your desired storage capacity. These batteries require lower maintenance than the 2V or 6V, having a "sealed" container allowing most of the gases to be recirculated back into the battery as liquid, reducing the water loss and terminal corrosion. The batteries are available in 100 ampere-hour, 150 ampere-hour and 200 ampere-hour sizes, with the 100 ampere-hour being our most popular due to its light weight of only 26 KG and transport versatility.
Our most popular 100 amp-hr, 12V battery is ideal for small installations
